Anti-Bribery & Corruption (“ABC”) Policy

Plasser India is committed towards maintaining and promoting good governance and ethical conduct of our people. Nowhere is our commitment to ethical conduct more evident than in the area of prevention and detection of corruption. At Plasser India, our attitude towards all forms of corruption is simple: it is one of zero tolerance.  

The Anti-Bribery & Corruption (“ABC”) Policy of the Company is designed to communicate the Company’s commitment to counter corruption and is applicable on all directors, employees as well as business partners, such as agents, suppliers/vendors, service providers, consultants, negotiators and other representatives, who may act on behalf of Plasser India.

Everyone at Plasser India should not only observe and comply, but live their daily lives by the rules, values and spirit, outlined in the ABC Policy.

Policy on Corporate Social responsibility

Plasser (India) Private Limited manufactures the most up-to-date high performance machines for track maintenance, which are highly sophisticated products. The machines for Indian Railways are tailor-made designs with special emphasis on applying the technology most appropriate for the local conditions. Production in India ensures a high indigenous content, using a large number of Indian suppliers. Machines and components are not only manufactured for Indian railways but are also exported. Through Plasser (India) Private Limited, the know-how of Plasser & Theurer, the largest manufacturer of track machines in the world, has been made available to the Indian Railways.

Presently, there are more than 170 highly qualified staff employed in the Faridabad factory who are specially trained in the manufacture of these machines. Following Plasser’s general policy, special emphasis is given to efficient after-sales service, spare parts supply and prompt availability of technical expertise as and when required. Furthermore, there is continuous training of specialized and qualified workers who are employed in the field not only in India but also in other parts of the world where their knowledge and skills are being made use of.

The Company is committed to implement the Companies Act, 2013 and the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014. Accordingly, the Company has set up a CSR Committee and a CSR Policy. This policy shall be known as Corporate Social Responsibility Policy of the Company and is referred hereinafter as “the Policy” or “CSR Policy”.

Data Privacy Policy

Plasser India is committed to maintain the privacy of and protect personal information as per law and Generally Acceptable Privacy Principles (GAPP).

The Data Privacy Policy of the company is designed to communicate the company’s commitment to protect the privacy and is applicable on all directors, employees as well as business partners, such as interns, agents, suppliers/vendors, service providers, consultants, negotiators, customers and other representatives, who may act on behalf of Plasser India.

Everyone at Plasser India should not only observe and comply, but live their daily lives by the rules, values and spirit, outlined in the Data Privacy Policy.
